Balasore, May 26: A red sand boa snake, worth over Rs 1 crore, was rescued in Balasore district. Snake catcher Kartik Sethi rescued the rare two-headed snake from near a petrol pump in Kuruda area and released in Kuldiha wildlife sanctuary in the district. {"id":46062,"sizeSlug":"large"} According to snake researchers, the rare non-poisonous snakes are used for making certain medicines and cosmetics, and are in huge demand in black market. They are also believed to bring good luck and wealth and used in black magic. According to police, this snake can fetch over Rs 1 crore in the international market.
