Cuttack, Feb 15: Odisha has booked a place in the Ranji quarter finals bagging three 3 points in drawn match against Jharkhand in the last Elite Group-C match today at Barabati Stadium here.
Odisha secured three points on basis of first inning lead against the visiting team.
The team Odisha will face Bengal in the quarters on February 20.
With the first innings lead of 80 runs, Odisha reached 38 points where Services ended up with 36 points.
In the second innings, Odisha declared at 187- 1 where skipper Subhransu Senapati and Debasish Samantray remained unbeaten on 100 and 64 respectively. Debasish Samantray was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Notably, Odisha have won against teams of Chhattisgarh, Services, Uttarakhand, Haryana and Assam, drawn the match with Tripura and Jharkhand and lost to Jammu and Kashmir and Maharashtra.
