Rahul’s Balasore meeting to be delayed due to engine trouble in his flight

Bhubaneswar: The proposed public meeting of Congress president Rahul Gandhi in Balasore will be delayed today as he was forced to return to Delhi due to engine trouble in his flight.

There was trouble in his flight to Patna as a result Gandhi was forced to return to the Delhi due to which his election rallies will get delayed.

“Engine trouble on our flight to Patna today! We’ve been forced to return to Delhi. Today’s meetings in Samastipur (Bihar), Balasore (Orissa) & Sangamner (Maharashta) will run late. Apologies for the inconvenience,” tweeted Gandhi.

He also attached a video of the cockpit of the aircraft in his tweet.

Balasore is among six Lok Sabha seats in Odisha, which will go to poll on the fourth phase on April 29, the last polling day in Odisha. The other five LS seats are Jajpur, Kendrapada, Bhadrak, Mayurbhanj and Jagatsighpur. Results will be announced on May 23. Elections will also be held simultaneously in 41 Assembly constituencies on April 29.
