Bhubaneswar: Senior Congress leader Pradip Majhi filed his nomination papers from Nabrangpur constituency today for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Accompanied by the senior Congress leaders, including Chhattisgarh Excise Minister, Majhi submitted nomination papers before the Returning Officer (RO) at the Nabarangpur Collectorate. Nabrangpur will go for polls on April 11.
A large number of Majhi’s supporters also accompanied Majhi.
Besides Nabarangpur, election will be held in four more Lok Sabha segments Kalahandi, Berhampur and Koraput on April 11 in the first phase.
Congress on Monday night released candidates’ list for six Lok Sabha and 36 Assembly segments.
