Police DG interacts with police team involved in detection of IIFL robbery case

Cuttack, Nov 25: DGP Abhay today interacted with team of officers and men involved in investigation and detection of IIFL jewellery robbery case of Cuttack. DGP appreciated their hard work, dedication and appropriate use of scientific methods of investigation. Police on Tuesday have cracked the case with arrest of seven accused, including the mastermind (an IIFL executive) and another lady employee of IIFL’s Nayasarak branch.While around 39.5 kg gold was alleged robbed, the police have recovered about 2kg stolen gold. On November 19, four masked men had barged into the IIFL office in the morning and held the staff at gunpoint before decamping with the gold ornament.
