Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) today announced the results of the annual Plus-II Arts, Commerce and Vocational streams here.
While the total pass percentage of Arts stream stood at 65.89 per cent the total pass rate in Commerce was recorded at 70.26 per cent. At least 52.62 per cent pass percentage was recorded in Vocational course.
A total of 1,52,323 students out of 2,31,150 students cleared the exam in Arts stream, said School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash here today.
Girls also outshined the boys in the Plus-II Arts exam. Of the total passed students, 55.80 per cent students were boys while girls recorded 73.99 per cent pass rate.
While Balasore district has registered the highest pass rate of 75.67 per cent, Nabarangpur recorded the least pass rate at 47.46 per cent in the Arts stream.
In Commerce stream, the total pass percentage stood at 70.26 per cent. Girls too outnumbered boys with 74.52 per cent pass percentage. The pass percentage of boys stood at 67.91 per cent.
While Khurda district registered the highest pass rate of 89 per cent Deogarh witnessed the least pass rate with 24.34 per cent in the Commerce stream.
In Vocational stream, a total of 4,126 students out of 7840 cleared the exam this year.
Balasore district recorded the highest pass rate of 74.34 per cent while Nabarangpur recorded the least pass rate at 8.33 per cent.
