OTDC signs MoUs with Swiggy and Zomato for online food delivery

Bhubaneswar, May 8: The Odisha Tourism Development Corporation (OTDC) today signed an agreement with food delivery aggregators Swiggy and Zomato for home delivery of food. In the first phase four Pantha Nivas of Puri, Rourkela, Bhubaneswar and Cuttack will start home delivery of food through the food delivery aggregators. Launching the initiative “Pasanda Apanakar, Rosai Amara”, the OTDC started the online food delivery systems in the presence of tourism minister Jyotiprakash Panigrahi, OTDC chairperson Srimayee Mishra, managing director Hemakanta Sai and senior executives of Zomato and Swiggy. OTDC officials said that they will also provide traditional pithas during the Raja festival. “We will also enter into such arrangements with other food delivery aggregators in future. Traditional Odia cuisines will be delivered at the door steps though this initiative,” said OTDC chairperson Shreemayee Mishra.
