Bhubaneswar: Raising onion price has become a headache for the consumers across the Country. In Odisha, the situation seems to be worse as the onion is being sold at the price of 150 rupees per kilogram at some places.
Onion is considered to be a common household product, the increased prices have not decreased demand much. As a result, the prices are increasing even more.
Meanwhile, the government has decided to distribute onions at a rate of 80 rupees per kilogram.
