Odisha State Planning Board to undertake study to revive economy

Bhubaneswar, June 9: Odisha government has decided to take help of Nabakrushna Choudhury Centre for Development Studies for economic revival in the wake of Covid-19. A decision in this regard was taken today during the meeting of Odisha State Planning Board. “All departments have been asked to come up with suggestions and proposals for revival of the economy during the testing times of Covid-19.  The proposals will be sent to the Nabakrushna Choudhury Centre for Development Studies to prepare a detailed report and subsequently the report will be presented before the Chief Minister,” said Board''s Vice Chairperson Sanjay Das Burma. Officials of several departments attended the meeting which focused on generation of employment. During the meeting, it was also decided to prepare a report focusing on agriculture and allied sectors, MSME, public health and tourism sectors.
