Odisha secures 7th position with 22 medals at All India Forest Sports Meet

Bhubaneswar, March 7: Odisha secured seventh position in the 25th edition of All India Forest Sports Meet which concluded in the state capital today. The hosts won as many as 22 medals in the event which started on March 3. In the last edition of the meet held at Raipur in Chhattisgarh, Odisha had won 12 medals with one gold five silver and six bronze medals. Around 2500 employees of forest departments from 37 teams of different states and UTs participated are participating in 23 disciplines and 285 events during the 5 days of this meet. This is the second time, Odisha hosted the event. Earlier the State had hosted the event in 1994.
