Odisha reports highest single day spike with 156 Covid-19 cases, tally crosses 2000 mark

Bhubaneswar, June 1: As many as 156 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported in Odisha on May 31, the state health department said on Monday.

While 153 cases were reported from quarantine centres across the state, three cases were local.

The total number of COVID-19 positive cases reached 2104 in Odisha with detection of the new cases.

While there are 969 active cases in the state, 1126 patients have recovered from the disease.

Seven people have died of the disease so far.
