Odisha Police registers 149 cases in 24 hours for violating Covid-19 guidelines during lockdown

Bhubaneswar, March 25: Odisha police has registered as many as 149 cases in the State between Tuesday and Wednesday morning for different violations of regulations and guidelines related to Covid-19. Police said that out of these cases, 137 cases are registered for violation of lockdown while another five cases have been registered for violation of home quarantine. Police said similarly seven cases have been registered on other issues related to Covid-19. Police said that concerned police stations in the state have been asked to enforce the lockdown and take stringent action against violators. “We have also asked concerned police stations to seize vehicles of owners roaming without emergency during lockdown,” said a police official.
