Athagarh, May 26: Forest department has decided to conduct Covid-19 test of a pangolin which was rescued from a quarantine centre today. The pangolin was rescued from Mahulia quarantine centre in Badamba under Athagarh Forest Division in Cuttack district. The Centre for Wildlife Health (CWH) at OUAT in Bhubaneswar is likely to facilitate the process. Officials at OUAT said since CWH doesn't have facility or permission from the government for a COVID-19 test, the sample, once collected from the pangolin, will be sent to a laboratory where the test is being conducted at present.
