Bhubaneswar, May 25: The Chairman of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of Odisha (HRAO), KJ Mohanty today wrote to the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) commissioner seeking permission allow hotels to operate and take passengers who are looking for hotel accommodation in Bhubaneswar.
In the letter to the BMC Commissioner Mohanty said, “The VISTARA flight had landed at Bhubaneswar this morning and people were looking for accommodation in the hotels. Further, as per Airport Authority of India sources, two more flights are expected i.e. Air India at 4.30 pm and Indigo at 8.00 pm from Delhi.”
“We have been getting phone calls for room reservations. Tomorrow also flights are expected to arrive at Bhubaneswar and as per circular of the Ministry of Civil Aviation the passengers arriving in the international flights have to go in for compulsory paid quarantine in hotels,” he said in the letter.
