Odisha govt identifies 7276 temporary medical camps to deal emergency for coronavirus

Bhubaneswar, March 23: Odisha has identified as many as 7276 temporary medical camps in all 6798 Gram Panchayats with provision of all basic facilities to meet any emergency, informed state government’s coronavirus (COVID-19) spokesperson Subroto Bagchi. Bagchi said that all Community Health Centres (CHC) and Primary Health Centres (PHC) in the state have been ordered to remain in readiness with all basic facilities like drinking water, toilet, electricity and sanitary measures for which, the BDOs have been authorized to spend Rs 10 lakh for CHC and Rs 5akh for PHC. Bagchi further said that all non-essential Central Government Offices, Central Public Undertakings, Banks and Insurance offices will operate with upto 10% of their staff strength as a precautionary measure for coronavirus.
