Odisha govt defers collection of property (holding) tax for three months

Bhubaneswar, April 13: Odisha government today government deferred collection of property (holding) tax for 3 months for Covid-19. The Director of Municipal Administration today wrote to the Municipal Commissioners and Executive Officers of the Urban Local Bodies in this regard. He also directed that there will be no penalty for delay in paying the dues after March 30. Earlier on Friday Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has advised all private educational institutions in Odisha to consider reduction/deferment of school fees from April to June.
