Odisha govt comes up with 377 dedicated quarantine centres with 32538 beds in ULBs

Bhubaneswar, April 1: The Odisha government has come up with 377 dedicated quarantine centres having bed capacity of 32538, spread across 114 ULBs in the state for Covid-19. Each of these quarantine centres is well equipped with the necessary infrastructure & dedicated facility management teams. “So far only four persons have been tested positive for the virus but we have made the arrangement keeping an eye on the possible community transmission. We are also trying to identify more such centres,” said an official. Besides a total of 50 hotels have been designated as pay-and-use quarantine facilities by the civic bodies in major cities of the state in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
