Odisha govt announces withdrawal of 48-hour complete shutdown at 8 pm

Bhubaneswar, April 5: Odisha government on Sunday announced not to extend the 48-hour complete shutdown period in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack cities along with Bhadrak town after 8 pm today. The 48-hour complete shutdown that was imposed in twin city of Bhubaneswar-Cuttack and Bhadrak town from 8 pm on Friday to check community transmission of the novel coronavirus will be withdrawn at 8 pm on Sunday, Chief Secretary Asit Tripathi said this afternoon. He appealed people not to rush to market after withdrawal of the shutdown.
