Odisha FC Under 18 boys qualify for final round of Hero Elite League

New Delhi, Feb 18: Odisha FC Under 18 boys have stormed into the final round of the ongoing Hero Elite League 2019-20 as they managed to get the better of Maximus Prime Sports by a huge margin of 5-0 goals at Training Pitch 2 of the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. Akshunna Tyagi and Rishabh Dobriyal scored two goals each while Nischay Adhikari also got his name on the scoresheet in the game. After a goalless first half, Odisha FC dominated the game in the entire passage after the change of sides. Rishabh scored the first goal for OFC in the 50th minute while Akshunna doubled the lead nine minutes later. Nischay also joined the party in the 70th minute of the match to ensure that Odisha FC is ahead by three goals against Maximus. Rishabh scored his second goal in the 76th minute and Akshunna also registered a brace in today’s game with a goal in the injury time which sealed the game for Odisha FC as they defeated Maximus Prime Sports by a huge margin of 5-0 goals today. With this win, Odisha FC has finished at the second position in their zone with 31 points from 14 matches and have also stormed into the final round of the under 18 tournament.
