Bhubaneswar, Feb 29: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today inaugurated ‘Unnati Bhawan’ at Satya Nagar in the state capital. The building with built up area of 93250 square feet will house various organisations under the state Housing and Urban Development (H&UD) Department. The building has several special features including rain water harvesting system, waste water treatment system and solar power plant. Several organisations of the H&UD department such as JAGA Mission, AWAAS Mission, Odisha Water Supply and Sewerage Board and WATCO will function from the new building. Patnaik also presented appointment letters to 28 newly recruited Odisha Municipal Administrative Service (OMAS) officers and 12 newly recruited officers of Odisha Municipal Planning Service (OMPS) under Odisha Municipal Cadre.
