Bhubaneswar: The State Assembly was once again adjourned for one hour till 12.30 pm as Opposition Congress and BJP members and the lone CPM MLA created ruckus over farmer issues.
As the House reassembled at 11.30 am, all Opposition members rushed into the Well of the House and demanded early withdrawal of token system and procurement of all paddy from farmers in western Odisha.
To find out a sollution to the impasse, Speaker Surjya Narayan Patro called an all party meeting and adjourned the House till 12.30 pm.
Earlier in the morning, Congress memberd had protested against delay in paddy procurement in western Odisha, rising in atrocities against women and the alleged lackadaisical attitude of the Government in constructing a bypass at Bolangir . The Speaker had adjourned the House at 10.31 am.
