Odia police officer in charge of security of China president in Tamilnadu

Chennai, 11/10: JK Tripathy, a veteran Odia IPS officer who  heads the police administration in Tamil Nadu, has shouldered the  responsibility of  overseeing the security of Chinese president Xi Jinping. Jinping is scheduled to attend the Indo-China bilateral summit scheduled to be held at Mamllapuram beach resort near  Chennai.Chinese president Jinping and Indian prime minister Narendra Modi are scheduled  to have an informal meet at the beach town. {"id":19128} Tripathy, who is the Director General of Police in Tamil Nadu, said all the formalities for the meet had been complete. A five-layered security blanket has been thrown for the summit, Security forces have been deployed along the entire 60 km-long corridor between the Chennai international airport and the Mamllapuram beach. {"id":19129} Meanwhile, Chennai police has  arrested 10 Tibetan nationals while twenty five others have been released after interrogation. Around 16,000 to 18,000 police personnel have been deployed in the Chennai city to look after the VVIP security, he said. {"id":19130} Cultural shows have been arranged at all important intersections to greet the two distinguished guests. {"id":19131} Police has sealed the ancient monument like Arjun Cave, Five Chariots and Sore Temple located near Mamlapuram beach for the tourists as Jinping is scheduled to visit these places. {"id":19132}
