Bhubaneswar: Even as no severe damage is expected to occur coastal districts of northern Odisha, normal life now looks disrupted in Balasore district in view of Cyclone Bulbul set to move through the coast of this northern most district of Odisha.
The reason behind people of Balasore remaining in fear is that the Bulbul is predicted to make landfall at nearby Sundarbana area in West Bengal district.
According to reports, some trees along Talsara sea beach have been uprooted. As many as 170 people of low-lying areas have been shifted to cyclone shelters.
ODRAF, NDRF and Fire Service teams have been kept ready to handle the cyclone and protect people. It is expected that wind blow will increase by evening, though is not expected to cause of much damage.
Roads, including NH, have worn deserted look as movement of buses have stopped in view of the cyclone.
