Bhubaneswar: Hours after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that she would consult Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on her next course of action on her ongoing dharna against the CBI action, the latter said that no one from the AITC is in touch with the BJD.
“No one from AITC official is in touch with BJD for past at least a year,” said Patnaik, who happens to be the BJD president, while reacting on the TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee’s statement.
Notably, on being asked whether she would continue with the dharna after the Supreme Court judgement, the West Bengal Chief Minister said she was not alone in the campaign.
“Let me talk to my leaders, I don’t go alone. Today Chandrababu Naidu is also coming, I will consult other leaders also. I will also consult Naveen Patnaik Ji, then I will let you know,” Banerjee said when asked whether she will leave dharna now.
