No Covid patient will be deprived from treatment in Odisha due to dearth of money: Naveen

Bhubaneswar, Aug 15: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today reiterated in his Independence Day speech to the people that ‘no Covid patient will be deprived from treatment in Odisha due to dearth of money’ while remembering the contribution of leading freedom fighters. Unfurling the Tricolour at the Exhibition Ground here this morning amidst drizzle the Chief Minster outlined the steps initiated by his government to fight Coronavirus. “Our government has set up Covid Hospital at various places across the state. Five plasma banks have been established to provide plama therapy treatment to serious patients. All the treatments are being imparted free of cost as every life is precious for us,” he said. Amidst Covid-19 pandemic Odisha has stood as the numero1 state in the country in terms of investment. During this period Odisha has attracted 18 percent investment relegating Maharashtra behind. Odisha has received Rs 12,000 crore investment proposals, Naveen added. The state government has also financial assistance to poor and working class for employment generation, the Chief Minister said. Stating that the Corona mortality rate has been lowest in Odisha Naveen complimented the warriors for their selfless service. He hoped that mankind will win over the Coronavirus. “The bells will ring again in the schools and the march of mankind will go forward”.
