New Delhi, Jan 28: Akshay Singh, one of the four convicts in Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case, had broken down before his wife, mother and other family while meeting them on Monday. This was perhaps their last meeting with Akshyay if he and three others were hanged on February as per schedule. Akshay's family had met him last in November, though the family members of three other convicts Mukesh, Pawan and Vinay had been frequenting Tihar Jail for meeting them. Though Akshaya's family were coming to jail less frequently, they were speaking to him over telephone frequently since November. {"id":25285,"width":575,"height":463,"sizeSlug":"large"} Akshay's family members stay in far off Bihar. When saw his mother, wife and nephew on Monday he could not control himself and cried inconsolably. His mother also could not control her emotion. However, Akshay's wife consoled him and his mother in thin voice. His wife and mother enquired about the status of the case during their half an hour meeting held in the office of the Jail Superintendent. {"id":25286,"sizeSlug":"large"} Fresh death warrant has been issued by the court in Nirbhaya gang rape and murder case. They are to be hanged on February 1 at 6 am, as per the fresh warrant. {"id":25287,"width":592,"height":420,"sizeSlug":"large"} However, several options are still open before them. So, the hanging on February 1 morning seems not possible. On the other hand, Tihar Jail administration is busy in preparation for the execution on February 1. A rehearsal was carried out on Monday morning with the hanging of dummies of the death warantees at Jail No 3.
