Nayagarh admin makes 14-day quarantine mandatory for returnees of Covid-19 hotspot districts

Nayagarh, July 12: Taking a cue from other districts, the Nayagarh administration today made 14-day quarantine mandatory for returnees from Covid-19 hotsopt districts. A notification in this regard was today published by Collector Poma Tudu. However, government officials, professionals, businessman or any other person travelling to Odisha on work and intending to exit the state by rail, road or air within 72 hours will be exempted from mandatory quarantine. As many as 270 positive cases of Covid-19 have been reported so far from Nayagarh district while 177 of them have recovered. The number of active Covid-19 positive cases from the district stands at 93.
