Puri, Oct 17: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday visited Puri to review the progress of work on heritage projects in the pilgrim city.
The CM is scheduled to hold review meeting with the senior officials in this regard after going around the temple premises. The district administration had made adequate arrangements for the CM’s visit.
Naveen, who turned 75 yesterday,sought the blessings of Lord Jagannath to make the people healthy and prosperous. Accompanied by the 5-T Secretary, VK Pandian, District Collector and SP and other senior officials, Naveen was seen wearing the face mask and abiding by the social distancing norms. Barricades were erected to enforce the social distance. The septuagenarian leader waved to the crowd waiting outside and the roof tops of the buildings of the buildings.
During the visit, the chief minister was seen glancing through relevant documents and applying sanitiser after seeing the documents every time to keep him safe.
