Naveen seeks cooperation of all political parties over singing of Bande Utkala Janani on May 30

Bhubaneswar, May 28: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik spoke to leaders of various political parties this evening few hours after he urged Odias to sing Bande Utkala Janani at 5.30 PM on May 30 (coming Saturday) to encourage Covid warriors of the state. The CM spoke to union minister Dharmendra Pradhan, PCC president Niranjan Patnaik and State BJP President Sameer  Mohanty and Samajwadi party president Ravi Behera and sought their cooperation in boosting the morale of Covid warriors . Earlier the CM has urged Odias to sing the song by maintaining social distancing. “The time has come for us to acknowledge and honour all our people who have worked tirelessly to keep us safe. In this context, I request all of you who are connected to the soil of Odisha, wherever you are in the world, to join us and sing Bande Utkal Janani at 5.30 P.M. on May 30th Saturday.  The objective is to inspire our Covid warriors, to respect their sacrifice and motivate them in their efforts. This will also inspire us, strengthen our commitment to continue the fight, provide unparalleled energy and zeal to all of us,” Patnaik has said while addressing the people of Odisha through a video message.
