Bhubaneswar, Aug 10: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik remembered former President of India and Bharat Ratna Varahagiri Venkata Giri, more popularly known as V.V. Giri on his 126th birth anniversary. Naveen took to twitter and wrote, “Remembering former President of India and Bharat Ratna #VVGiri on his birth anniversary. Giri served as the fourth President of India from August 24, 1969 to August 24, 1974. During his tenure as President, Giri gave his assent to two revolutionary documents – the Shimla Agreement and the bank nationalisation bill of 1969.
