Naveen joins BJD’s Jan Sampark Padyatra in Bhubaneswar; reiterates his commitment to the people

Bhubaneswar, 30/10: Chief minister and BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik today attended the party’s ongoing Jan Sampark Padyatra, launched by him on the Gandhi Jayanti day. The padyatra programme is aimed at spreading the message about the achievements of the party government and link the party with more and more people belonging to various walks of life. The ruling party has set a target to mobilise more than 70 lakh members across the state. Addressing the gathering at Satya Nagar in the city, Naveen said that his party was always thinking about people and is working for their well-being. He listed out some of the populist programmes including the Re 1 a kg rice scheme and the recently-launched Mo Sarkar programme. “ The other parties are on the other hand are shedding crocodile tears”, he said. Naveen claimed that his government had fulfilled almost all the electoral promises and was making tireless effort to fulfil the rest promises. Several senior party leaders, city MLAs and former councillors of  the dissolved Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation were present on the occasion.
