Bhubaneswar: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today hit the campaign trails in Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur parliamentary constituencies and attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi visiting Odisha for seeking votes only.
“The Prime Minister did not visit Odisha once in last five years during the hard times of the people of the State. But he has visited Odisha at least ten times in a month. Are the votes of the people of Odisha are only valuable for BJP,” asked Patnaik.
Patnaik further said that the Prime Minister had visited Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Gujarat Assam and Kerala during natural calamities like flood and cyclones but found time to visit Odisha when cyclones Hudhud, Titli, flood and drought hit the Sttae.
Reiterating the commitment that he will keep serving the 4.5 people of Odisha till his last breath, Patnaik sought blessings of the people in the ensuing fourth phase Lok Sabha and Assembly elections scheduled on April 29.
Besides campaigning in Ersama-Balikuda, Patnaik later campaigned in Mahakalpada Assembly constituency under Kendrapada parliamentary constituency and held roadshows from Hariabanka, Mohakalpada via Marsaghai canal bridge, Marsaghai, via Haldigada, Patkura, Garadpur, Kalabuda, Korua, Mahala, Chandol, Derabish, Chhata and Jantilo.
