Angul: Continuing his attack on the BJP-led Centre over non-revision of coal royalty, BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today said that Odisha is only getting pollution and dust although the Central Government is generating revenue of thousands of crores from coal royalty in the State.

Criticizing the Union government for not revising coal royalty in past five years, Patnaik asked as to why a five-minute job could not be done in last five years.

Training his gun on PSUs yet again, Patnaik “Companies like MCL and NTPC are getting huge benefits from their operations in the State, but no development works in the localities have been done by these companies,” said Patnaik during his election campaign in Angul.

He also blasted the BJP for conspiring to stop KALIA but reiterated that nobody can stop the farmers’ scheme till he his alive.

Patnaik is targeting the BJP over coal royalty and KALIA issues in almost all his election rallies in the State.
