Murder accused who took out rally after getting bail in Bhubaneswar booked under NSA

Bhubaneswar, Sep 18: Roshan Jena, an accused in Amaresh Nayak murder case has been detained under the National Security Act (NSA), police said today. Jena was arrested by the Airfield police station in 2019 in connection with the murder. Jena was released from jail few days ago after being granted bail by the Orissa High Court. Jena and his three associates involved in the murder case were earlier booked under Epidemic Diseases Act for taking out a procession after being released from jail on September 10. Nayak of BDA Colony had died after being assaulted by a group of anti-socials in Sundarpada after he got into an argument with them over bursting of firecrackers in the area. Jena was one among the main accused in the murder case.
