Mother, son arrested for leopard skin smuggling in Odisha

Nuapada, Sep 20:  The Nuapada forest department officials today nabbed three persons including a mother-son duo for allegedly smuggling leopard skin and wild animal meat.

The forest department officials also seized 20 kg wild animal meat and sharp weapons from the accused persons.

On being tipped off, the forest department personnel of Nuapada and Khariar ranges conducted raids at Tipajhar village under Dharambandha police limits.

During further search, 20 kg of wild animal meat, skin and sharp weapons were seized.
