More than 4000 vehicles seized in Odisha during lockdown, around 2400 arrested

Bhubaneswar, April 4: Odisha Police has registered over 2700 cases against violators for defying Covid-19 regulations in last 10 days, informed Police DG Abhay today. He said that around 2400 persons have been arrested during this period while more than 4000 vehicles were also seized. “Shutdown completely successful so far in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Bhadrak and I congratulate all police personnel for their work,” said the police DG. He also urged residents to cooperate with police during the lockdown. “I urge people not to come out of their houses without any emergency during the lockdown,” added Abhay.
