Miscreants assault employees of micro finance company and decamp with Rs 1.06 lakh cash in Balasore

Balasore, Jan 19: Unidentified miscreants allegedly assaulted two employees of a microfinance company and decamped with cash worth Rs 1.06 lakh in Soro area of the district today. As per reports, two employees of the microfinance company identified as Jagannath Swain and Rashmirekha Das were on their way to their office after collecting money when the three miscreants intercepted them and assaulted them with sharp edged weapons. The miscreants later decamped with the cash and their mobile phones. The victims were rescued by the locals and both of them were rushed to the nearest hospital. Police have started an investigation into the incident.
