Minister Ranendra Swain shoulders the body of former Athgarh NAC chairman

Athgarh, 2/11: Food and Civil Supplies Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain, who happens to be the local MLA,  offered his tribute to former Athgarh Notified Area Council (NAC) chairman Pramath Chandra Mishra, who passed away today morning. Along with the family members and locals, he carried the body of Mishra, one of his close associates, to the cremation ground for performance of his last rites.  The funeral procession passed through the NAC office, local court and market before terminating at the cremation ground. Several dignitaries including Minister Swain, local sub collector Amiya Kumar Sahu, leaders of different political parties and office bearers of local Bar Associations and other organisations expressed their condolence over the death of Mr Mishra.
