Met office issues cold wave, dense fog warning for next 48 hours

Bhubaneswar, Feb 9: The Bhubaneswar Met office on Sunday issued cold wave warning for several districts in the state for the next 48 hours. Minimum temperature very likely to fall by 3-5 degree Celsius during the next 2-3 days over the districts of Odisha, the evening bulletin read. Shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Odisha during the next 2-3 days, it added. Cold wave condition very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Cuttack, Angul, Sonepur, Bolangir, Sundargarh in the next 48 hours, the bulletin said. Dense fog very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Sonepur, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Angul, Dhenkanal, Bhadrak , Cuttack and Mayurbhanj on Monday and Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput and Angul districts on Tuesday. Light to moderate rainfall very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Kalahandi, Koraput, Gajapati, Ganjam, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Malkangiri, Nayagarh and at one or two places over the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Khurdha,Puri, Kendrapada , Jagatsingpur , Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bolangir,Nuapada and Boudh and dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha on Monday. And dry weather very likely to prevail over the districts of Odisha from Tuesday.
