Cuttack: Over 28,000 students in the State are appearing for the annual High School Certificate (Matriculation) Supplementary examination, conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, which began on Monday. The exams will continue till July 14.
Students are appearing for the test at 122 centres across the State amid tight security arrangement and strict supervision.
Similarly, the State Open School Certificate (SOSC) Examination also began from today. It will continue till July 16.
Students have to appear the exam between 9 am and 11.30 am.
Board officials said adequate security arrangements have been made to prevent malpractice and ensure smooth conduct of the exams.
Supplementary examination is conducted by the Board of Secondary Education for those students who could not clear the annual matriculation examination.
