Bhubaneswar: At least four centre superintendents were suspended after annual High School Certificate (HSC) Odia examination question papers went viral on social media today.
The examination centre superintendents of Sudarshan Vidyapeeth in Dhenkanal district, Bandhangaon High School, Karamggal and Gopinath Vidyapeeth Centres in Boden block in Koraput district were placed under suspension.
Board of Secondary Education (BSE) president Dr Jahan Ara Begum said that police complaint will also be lodged in connection with the case.
She said that Matric question papers were not leaked but it became viral after first part of examination ended. She appealed to students to continue their studies in the same zeal as viral incident has no bearing on students.
The HSC examination started today with as many as 5, 87, 720 students appearing for the First language (MILO) in 2,953 centres across the State.The exam will continue till March 8.
