New Delhi, Feb 8: Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari said sixth sense told him his party would come to power in the state.
Today I sense vibrations from all sides and my sixth sense telling me that this time a BJP government will be formed, the Bhojpuri filmstar turned politician told reporters near a polling station.
Delhi is voting today to elect a new government for the state Assembly.
Voting began at 8 am across all 70 constituencies and will end at 6 pm.
The results will be declared by the election commission on Tuesday, February 11.
In the 2015 election, Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) swept 67 seats of Delhi’s 70 Assembly seats while the BJP won only three seats and the Congress zero.
However, the BJP has won all seven seats in the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
And, the party expects to win 50-plus seats and form a government in Delhi.
