Lockdown norm violation in Bhardak: 93 arrested, 35 case registered

Bhadrak, March 29: At a time while the country is lockdown to prevent the rapid spread of novel coronavirus, many people in Bhadraak were seen roaming on streets and violating the lockdown norms.
The district police arrested as many as 93 persons and registered 35 cases. The police has also slapped fine amount of Rs1, 35,500 on 135 vehicles. The arrests were mede from 22 march to 29.

As per police data, the Town police has registered 11 cases and arrested 41 persons for violating the lockdown norms.  

On March 28, The Bhadrak Regional Transport Office (RTO) imposed a fine of Rs 31,500 on a ambulance for transporting people during the lockdown period. The emergency vehicle has also been seized by the RTO.

As per reports, driver of the ambulance was carrying people in the emergency vehicle near Bhadrak new bus stand on National Highway-16 yesterday. As many as eight people were inside the ambulance and interestingly no one was a patient among them.
