Bhubaneswar, May 24: Liquor traders in Cuttack have agreed to start home delivery of liquor from Monday. Though the state government has earlier allowed home delivery of liquor to begin from Sunday, no sale has been commenced due to opposition by traders. The liquor traders in Cuttack toady had a meeting with the District Administration after which they decided to start the home delivery from Monday. “As per decision, we will keep orders between 7am and 1pm and our employees will deliver liquor between 1pm and 6pm. There will be no home delivery through food aggregators,” said a trader. On the other hand, a group of liquor shop owners in Bhubaneswar have expressed their unwillingness for home delivery of liquor citing that attack on delivery boys cannot be ruled out.
