Kusuma Tete resigns from BJD

Bhubaneswar: Sundargarh BJD leader Kusuma Tete resigned from the prime members of the party, citing negligence.

Tete, who had unsuccessfully fought the 2014 election on a BJD ticket from the Sundargarh Assembly seat, strongly opposed the party’s decision to give ticket Jogesh Singh, who came to the party from the Congress recently. She said she would take next course of action in consultation with her supporters.

Tete submitted her resignation to BJD supremo Naveen Patnaik, according to reports.
