Bhubaneswar: The Special Investigation Team, formed by the Orissa High Court, continued investigation in the Kunduli gang-rape and suicide case for second consecutive day on Tuesday.
The team comprising Sambalpur DIG Himanshu Lal, Brahmapur DIG Satyabrata Bhoi and Koraput DIG Safin Ahmed K will visit the incident site at Kunduli and talk to doctors at the medical where the victim was being treated.
The HC formed the three-member team on the request of the family members after police, CB and judicial probes could not give justice to them.
On the first day on Monday, the team talked to the victim’s mother, brother and aunt at the Koraput DIG office on the matter.
It may be noted that, the victim, a Dalit girl, was allegedly abducted and raped by four persons in uniforms while she was returning home after taking a photograph in a studio at Hatapadar on October 10, 2017. Later, she allegedly committed suicide on the January 22, 2018.
