Know the movements not restricted during weekend shutdown in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, June 5: The State government has decided to exempt certain movements during weekend shut down on Saturdays and Sundays declared in 11 districts of the State. The movements exempted from restriction are 1) Movement of any person in case of medical or other emergency 2) ATMs and critical financial institutions like RBI, clearing Houses 3) Operations of Airports, Railway Stations, Bus Terminals and their associated offices, movement of associated personnel and activities 4) Home Delivery of food by restaurants and aggregators such as Zomato, Swiggy etc. 5) Newspaper hawkers between 5 am and 8 am only 6) LPG distribution, home delivery of cooking gas and associated facilities, personnel and vehicular movement Earlier the State government has announced to enforce a two-day shutdown in 11 districts on Saturdays and Sundays till June end. These districts are -- Ganjam, Puri, Nayagarh, Khurda, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore and Balangir.
