Varanasi, Ap 18: A sculptor from Kashi has meticulously crafted a replica of the revered idol of Ram Lalla, which currently resides in the consecrated Ayodhya temple. This replicated idol is slated to find its place of reverence in a Hanuman temple situated in the Netherlands. Before embarking on its overseas journey, the replica idol will first undergo traditional rituals in Ayodhya, further sanctifying its significance.
The endeavor to create this replica idol was commissioned by the EterBliss Foundation, a noble initiative dedicated to promoting the timeless principles of Sanatan Dharma. In addition to this venture, the Foundation aims to install replicas of Ram Lalla idols in various other European countries, fostering a deeper understanding of the profound philosophy underlying Sanatan Dharma.
Rahul Mukherjee, director of the Foundation, expressed, "Swami Akhand Samrat Anandji Maharaj, the visionary founder of EterBliss, is committed to dispelling misconceptions surrounding Sanatan Dharma, emphasizing its essence as an eternal philosophy transcending mere religious boundaries. With the aim to establish Ram temples worldwide, we have chosen to enshrine an idol of Ram Lalla in black stone at the Hanuman Temple in Amsterdam."
The task of sculpting this revered replica fell upon the skilled hands of Kashi-based sculptor, Kanhaiya Lal Sharma. Renowned for his craftsmanship, Sharma had previously collaborated with a European artist over two decades ago, sculpting a pink stone statue of Princess Diana.
Reflecting on the project, Sharma shared, "Following the 'pran pratishtha' ceremony of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, the Foundation approached me with the aspiration for a similar idol. I readily agreed, and we commenced our work on Basant Panchami, February 24."
This endeavor not only highlights the dedication of artisans to their craft but also underscores the universal resonance of divine symbols, transcending geographical boundaries to inspire reverence and devotion across continents.
