Jail escape: police yet to arrest the under trial prisoner, analyses the CCTV footage

Dhenkanal, 16/12: Police is yet to succeed in arresting the under trial prisoner, who has escaped from Dhenaknal district jail three days ago. However, the police is analysing the CCTV footage as to how did the culprit escape. {"id":22033,"sizeSlug":"large"} Siba Munda, a under trial prisoner, had managed to escape by scaling the back side boundary wall of the Dhenakanl district jail on December 13 evening with the help of a lungi. He was arrested on November 22 on the charges of kidnapping a 13 year old girl and raping her. His case is under trial in the special POCSO court here. {"id":22034,"sizeSlug":"large"} Meanwhile, a case has been registered by the authorities of Dhenkanal jail at the Town police station here after his escape and police has raided several places including the culprit's village. He has escaped by scaling the backside boundary wall, as revealed from the CCTV footage of a building located in the rear side of the jail.
