Jagatsinghpur admin asks fuel stations not to issue fuel to vehicles without emergency during lockdown

Jagatsinghpur, April 6: In a bid to prevent free movement of vehicles by general public during lockdown, Jagatsinghpur dist administration has asked all petrol pump owners not to issue fuel to vehicles not involved in emergency services. The district administration has issued a notification today in this regard. The vehicles which will be provided fuel include goods carrier vehicles, ambulances, police vehicles, vehicles engaged with COVID-19 emergency work only, government vehicles, vehicles having pass for emergency purpose and media personnel with valid identity cards/COVID 19 passes. “Filling station owners have been asked to obey the notification and any violation will attract stringent action,” said an official.
